Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

Our concept thrives on an appreciative cooperation between travellers and farmers, so that everyone can benefit positively from Schau aufs Land and gain wonderful experiences.

Therefore, it is important to us that you read the following eight points carefully and adhere to them. We also reserve the right to terminate memberships in the event of violations of these rules.

Code of Conduct

Arrival/Departure

Ask up to 2 days in advance if a place is available for you. No arrival is allowed without prior contact!
Please greet your hosts upon arrival and show your digital membership card . Please say goodbye in person or in the form of a message.

Code of Conduct

No guarantee

Your hosts have only a limited number of pitches. If all of these pitches are already occupied or not available at the moment for other reasons, we kindly ask you to contact the nearest partner farm from Schau aufs Land .

Code of Conduct

Communication

Pay attention to what your host tells you and, if in doubt, ask how you should behave with nature and the animals on the site and what rules apply to the use of the services.
Cancellations: Please inform your hosts in good time if you cannot come.

Code of Conduct

Appreciation

Express your gratitude for the hospitality by buying from the farm or taking advantage of offers. Also a voluntary (food) donation is possible. In addition to an idyllic place to spend the night, you get fresh and lovingly produced food and insights into where it actually comes from – a win-win situation.

Code of Conduct

Environmental protection

Never leave rubbish, cigarette ends, sewage or similar on the pitch! Please always leave the pitch as you found it – or even cleaner – and protect the nature you are in. Please use official disposal stations for the disposal of black and grey water.

Code of Conduct

Security

Remember that on a farm there may be machinery and animals that can be dangerous for you or children. Please behave on the farm appropriately cautious and if in doubt, ask your hosts.

Code of Conduct

Respect

Always remember that you are on holiday, but your hosts have to work. Therefore, please always respect the respective rules of the farm – especially regarding pre-booking, arrival time & rest days. Please do not make noise and respect the privacy of your hosts.

Code of Conduct

Responsibility

All of us together make Schau aufs Land . It also lies in your responsibility to shape your own stay in a positive way and thus open up the space for many other positive experiences for other travellers. Please take this responsibility seriously so that everyone in the future can have added value through Schau aufs Land .
