Our concept thrives on an appreciative cooperation between travellers and farmers, so that everyone can benefit positively from Schau aufs Land and gain wonderful experiences.
Therefore, it is important to us that you read the following eight points carefully and adhere to them. We also reserve the right to terminate memberships in the event of violations of these rules.
Arrival/Departure
Enquire up to five days in advance to see if there is a place available for you. No arrival is allowed without prior contact!
Please greet your hosts upon arrival and show your digital membership card . Please say goodbye in person or in the form of a message.
No guarantee
Your hosts only have a limited number of pitches. If all of these pitches are already occupied or not available for other reasons, please contact the nearest Schau aufs Land partner company.
Communication
Pay attention to what your host tells you and, if in doubt, ask how you should behave with nature and the animals on the site and what rules apply to the use of the services.
Cancellations: Please inform your hosts in good time if you cannot come.
Appreciation
Always show your appreciation for hospitality by buying from the farm or taking advantage of special offers. A voluntary (food) donation is also possible. In addition to an idyllic place to spend the night, you will receive fresh and lovingly produced food and an insight into where it actually comes from - in other words, a win-win situation.
Environmental protection
Never leave rubbish, cigarette butts, waste water or similar on the pitch! Please always leave the pitch as you found it - or even cleaner - and protect the natural environment in which you are staying. Please use official disposal stations to dispose of black and grey water.
Security
Remember that there may be machines and animals on a farm that could be dangerous for you or children. Please behave with appropriate caution on the farm premises and, if in doubt, ask your hosts.
Respect
Always remember, you are on holiday, but your hosts have to work. Therefore, please always respect the respective rules of the farm - especially regarding advance booking, arrival time & rest days. Please don't make any noise and respect your hosts' privacy.
Responsibility
Together, we all make Schau aufs Land what it is. You also contribute to this by making your stay positive and creating space for many more wonderful experiences for other travellers. Please take this responsibility seriously so that Schau aufs Land can continue to offer added value for everyone in the future.
